This session will introduce and define personalized learning, and explore possibilities for success and note pitfalls. Personalized learning offers a creative means for reaching each learner. Giving learners the tools and opportunity to explore, create, experiment, and try again inspires them to become investigators of their world, attempt to solve problems, and bridge gaps of knowledge independently, collaboratively, and resourcefully. In personalized classrooms (and PD) learners have greater agency, and have opportunities for greater creative expression and higher-order learning.
