Deep Dive: Leadership

Log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Join us to discuss strategies and ways to cultivate and grow innovative practices even in the most traditional of schools. From implementing 21st century classrooms to creating vibrant maker spaces, in what ways can we support these practices within our institutions?

The devices and tools we use are becoming commodities, and it requires special skills to make them all match, which has traditionally been the focus of technology directors. But there is a needed integration with the pedagogy that is being missed, and that is the key ingredient in a successful technology implementation in a school.  As technology leaders, we need to learn more about the educational process and how tools should be used, not just how they work. Bridging this gap is the new challenge for technology and its leaders, and we must begin to prepare for the changes.
