Ed-Tech leaders, many who are rapidly acquiring titles such as Directors of Innovation, need to co-lead learning space transformations. Schools are scrambling to modernize their buildings in light of new knowledge about teaching and learning in the 21st century. How can ed-tech leaders become key catalysts and collaborators thinking beyond "technology" and beyond "maker-spaces?"How can we catalyze the conditions within the school community to launch bold project visions? Who should we seek out? Who should be involved?
Join us for an interactive and generative design-thinking process.  We'll consider renovations to existing spaces such as: converting libraries into multifunctional Learning Commons; adapting computer labs to multi-use student-centered Spark Studios; transitioning a dozen K12 classrooms into Learning Studios; and converting single function public spaces into multifunction Learning Commons.
