Engineering and art - they sound like polar opposites. They are almost always taught separately; rarely intermixed. But in the real world, engineering and art are two sides of the same coin. Some of the most brilliant minds in history - Leonardo DaVinci, Michaelangelo, Benjamin Franklin - were great scientists as well as great artists, on a variety of different media. Society today balances on the meeting point of these two vast subjects. I'll use real-life examples to bridge the gap between engineering and art, and explain why it is crucial for them to be rejoined in the effort to prepare students for the future. Come join me in this very-interactive session to learn some of the inner-workings of the beautiful world around you.
