Gabe has been working in the educational technology field for over a decade. In 2014 Gabe co-founded ATLIS (Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools), a non-profit professional development association for technology administrators. He served as the first ATLIS Board President and continues to serve on its board today. Previously, Gabe worked in multiple schools in the Bay Area in both teacher and administrator capacities: San Francisco State University, Foothill College, Menlo School, and Castilleja School. Gabe holds an undergraduate degree in Mathematical and Computational Science from Stanford, a Master in Information Management and Systems from UC Berkeley, and a Master in Mathematics from SF State. He is the principal of Ed Tech Recruiting, a management consulting and recruiting firm supporting the hiring process of senior technology staffing.
