P. Matthew Dillon began teaching in the public schools of New York State in 1986 and has been a self-contained classroom teacher for kdg, 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th grades. Dillon moved to Hawaii in 2010 to become the Kdg-5th grade science teacher at Island Pacific Academy. In 2012, he became IPA's K-5 engineering & design teacher/science coordinator. Matthew moved to 'Iolani in the fall of 2014 to be the Lower School S.T.E.M/FabLab teacher. Dillon has his MA from Columbia University-Teachers College ('86) and has presented at the 2013 & 2015 SOTF Conference, 2015 NSTA STEM Forum, Stanford's FabLearn 2015 & 2016 and FETC 2017.
